Update on life and GUATEMALA TRIP!!

Gaby and Steve

Gaby, Jared, Guenia

Oh my It has been a long time since I wrote on my blog. Lets continue from where we last left in July. Ok, from July-August, I decided it was time to take my little wee daycare to the next level OR continue my education. It seemed I wasn't sure, so I prayed about it and with the Support of Steve, I decided to continue my education. I decided to take statistics, chemistry, biology and a communications course. These are pre-requisites for the dental hygiene program I am pursuing. Well, good news because it is now December, finals are over and I know with a surety, that I have passed all my classes and gotten A's and B's. Hurrah! Now moving on. Our 1 year anniversary was on the 20th of November. Steve had planned fun stuff for us to do, but I guess it's my fault, and they didn't go as planned. So we went out to The old spaghetti factory in provo and it was great. We came home and danced to a cute song and then watched a movie and went to bed. Steve bought me beautiful flowers and I couldn't be happier. I bought him something different than a tie. I bought him a portable adapter, so when he is on the go, he can plug in his laptop or phone or anything, instead of trying to find an oulet. I hope he liked it. He bought me a picture frame to put pictures of me and him. I loved it :) Our camera had broken at the time, so we didn't get to capture these moments digitally, but at least the memory will be engraved in our hearts. Steve is working and in school too. He is really good at math. If he only focused more on math than W.O.W. Ok now another update, my brother got married yay!!! The first thing we did is buy a 10 pixel camera.
I had my birthday party at my house. I figured, I could save people some money by not having to go out and eat somewhere. I had sushi and a choco fountain and rockband (since we never use it, I figured people would have fun with it. More or less, I just wanted to spend time with my friends. It felt more like that then a birthday, which made it even better.

My bro and sis live in Guatemala and we flew down there during Thanksgiving break. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I had school the monday after. It was a great time! I hadn't seen my sister over 6 years and bro for 7 years. I was super happy that hubby bought the plane tickets and was willing to go despite him not knowing any Spanish. Steve enjoyed himself, who can blame him because Jared and Guenia are my heroes and 2 of the greatest people I know. Jared and Guenia spoke to him in English the whole time and a lot of my family spoke English too. We got to go back to my home country and see the changes, which I don't really remember. I saw a lot of assault rifles, cool people and scary streets, a large amount of people selling illegal stuff cd's and such (Pirates). I saw the craziness of the 3rd world country, like crazy crazy traffic (never will steve and I complain about Utah traffic) and the really poor areas, the middle class and the rich. On the other hand, everything was cheap, I loved going shopping, I got my hair done, I saw antigua (colonial type city), it was warm, I saw a volcano and people there were so nice and caring. I saw some of the guatemala chapels and everything was so cool. It was awesome! Que viva Guatemala!!! I loved the Guatemala temple and we got to go for my brother's sealing. It was so special. I now have a new sister in law. She is great and nice and beautiful. She recently graduated from law school. I will definitely make the time to go back there next year and stay longer. Jared and Guenia showed us everything in the little time we were there. I want to go to the book of Mormon lands in Tikal Guatemala. The only thing is, Steve wants to take me to France next year, I wouldn't mind that either. So today I am being lazy and logging in and out of facebook. I didn't sleep 2 days ago because I was studying (cramming) for finals. I did good and was ecstatic to get out of school. But now, I'm bored and I shoveled my driveway which to me was a big task, 3 cars fit in my driveway, now I look outside and all my work is gone. It snowed again and my footsteps aren't even there anymore. And now I don't want to go back out in the cold.

A list of things I need to do today.

1 Sell back my freakin expensive textbooks.

2 Pay a provo city library fine--I first need to find the books to return.

3 Go shopping for Christmas gifts.

4 put folded laundry away

5 pour fresh kitty litter

6 vaccum

7 groom myself

8 now that I have time, cook and make dinner

And ...upcoming events, 2 weddings and no funeral to go to on Friday, and a friend's Bday party on Saturday!

Dear anyone who is reading this or anyone who is on my page. Thanks! I appreciate the fact that you care about me or my life, even though it may not have any meaning to you. I love you. Merry Xmas!
