Steve Barsh grew up in Orem, UT. He loved playing street hockey and was really really good at computers ( he still is amazing). He went to Mountain View High School and then he went to UVSC. He served a great mission in the Birmingham, Alabama mission in 2002-04. When he returned he went back to school and graduated from UVSC. The rest of his life is another story, but to break it down he met (Me) Gaby in November of 2006. I Gaby, moved from Guatemala to Utah in 1991. I grew up in Mapleton and Provo. I went to Provo High School and graduated in 2003. After High school I had some adventures, I lived in Arizona and then came back to Utah. I had it rough sometimes, I broke my ankle from skateboarding in 05 and couldnt walk for like 5 months. It was a rough time. Then I had other trials, but I remained strong thanks to my Heavenly Father. After that I decided to go to UVSC in 06. I was attending the BYU 230th ward and so was Steve. We had our first date in November of 2006 at Mimi's Cafe and went to a really fun Hockey game that night. After that we were dating other people and trying to figure out what we wanted ha ha. We didn't officially begin dating until the first of March. Things got from good to great! In July of 2007 we took a trip to the Grand Canyon and San Diego. Steve proposed to me at the beautiful Carlsbad beach in California. He took my breath away. With the help of my bro and sis in law, he sneakily had roses around candles with a ring on top of a dozen roses. It was so pretty. I wasn't going to cry, but I couldn't help it. I have a pic of the beach here in case you want to see. It was really late a night (I know it's dangerous), but no one was there. It was awesome. I had a beautiful engagement ring, but most of all a great fiancee. We got married November 20, 2007. Our wedding was around the thanksgiving break and we got to spend time with family and then departed to the Island of Kauai, Hawaii. Thankfully we came home from our honeymoon and already had a house of our own to live in. I love Steve more and more everyday. He calls me baby buttercup and I am obsessed with cats so I call him babykitty. Anyway we are silly and goofy and sometimes there are little downs in our life. Mostly we stay strong in the gospel and live our lives as best as we can. Steve and I teach in the primary (sunbeams) and I have a little In-home daycare and Steve works at IBAHN for an ISP in the hospitality industry as an acct. exec. We are grateful each day for the blessings we have. We like to work together and get new things done such as new websites, businesses, investments and now we are working with stocks. Mostly Steve is the little brain behind our adventures, but I figured out I am pretty smart after all. We are both planning on finishing school. We have many goals set for us. We wrote them down and now we have to work hard. As for children, no plans yet. Maybe not for 2 more years, we'll see. I love my family, I love Steve's family and I love my Savior and Heavenly Father. (If you click on the slideshows to the right it should make the pictures bigger)
